——记艺术家汤曙先生

　　Tang Shu is an artist who facing the reality. In his eyes, the reality is the most important, even if it is not the most beautiful. His works have a lot of "realistic" description of the natural scenery, which contains the question of his thinking, expresses his full of feelings, as well as his belief in his mind.
　　汤曙是一位选择面对现实的艺术家。在他的眼里，现实是最重要的，哪怕不是最美好的。他的作品中有对自然风景的大量“写实”描绘，其中包含着他思考的问题，表达着他充沛的感情，以及他心目中的信仰。
　　绘画是人们捕捉、记录及表现不同理性和情感的一种形式。具体来说，是一个以二维的平面为基质，在其之上加上颜色的行为。尽管绘画的材质、功能都在随着历史的发展而不断演变，但自始至终，艺术家都是绘画的主体。
　　绘画的“正面”是示人的；而绘画的另一面则是艺术家留给自己的。观众所能看到的“正面”以及画面上所释放出来的力量，正是来源于这些看不见的“另一面”。
