葵颂
——许江近作展

　　Xu Jiang has been painting sunflower for 15 years, when he encountered Sunflower on the Asia Minor Plateau in 2003, he encountered a number of sunflower garden scenes that shook his mind and body, from these scenes, he opened himself repeatedly and extracted the spiritual core of sunflower garden painting. In this journey of life lasting for 15 years, Xu Jiang returned to his homeland from afar, returned to the vicissitudes of the earth from the sky overlooking, and returned to the home of the group of sunflower, he worked daily on the canvas like a farmer, writing a spiritual epic in the depths of sunflower garden.
　　今年，是中国改革开放40周年。作为与改革开放相伴相行的一代人，喝改革的水，呼吸开放的空气，许江这代人最深刻地领受着这场民族伟大解放的洗礼与塑造。对于这代人来说，如果要以一物来发奋抒情，那就是葵。葵作为最能代表20世纪中国人精神风貌的事物，不仅是共和国几代人的记忆，也是中国人同感共振的成长记录，更是萦绕着我们生活日常与未来想象的生命蕴涵。葵留给这个时代的是阳光，是伴着阳光的灿烂与激情。
